The Mystery of the Manger |

This
years Christmas program is called "The Mystery of
the Manger". In The Mystery of the Manger,
Jane Blonde, an investigative reporter for The Morning Star
newspaper wants the facts . . . just the facts! Her
questions and searching make headline news on Christmas
morning. As she observes rehearsal for the Christmas Eve
pageant, the children teach her through their songs that
"Like the Wise Men" we're all searching for the truth, and
that the gospel accounts of Jesus' life are "The Gospel
Truth." In examining these facts from Scripture, your
children and congregation will discover the overwhelming
proof that the baby born 2,000 years ago in that manger IS
the Savior of the world.

Jesus
is the Reason for the Season |
This
years Christmas program is called "Christmas
Starr". It is the story of a fun-loving, happ'nin'
little star who is just coming into an understanding of who
she is and of what the birth of Jesus will mean. We meet
Chrissy and her friends at a party for the stars just before
the birth of Jesus, where Grandmother Starr will make the
Big Announcement they've all been waiting for: Who will be
the brightest star ever? Who will shine over the stable and
point the way to Jesus? There's been a buzz in Heaven for
weeks and now the announcement will come and plans will be
underway for the Biggest Event Ever - Jesus' birth! Share
the fun and the joy as we watch Chrissy go from 'star' to
worshiper.

Christmas
2004 - "A Star is Born"
|
 LOOK
BELOW TO SEE VIDEO
FROM OUR "KUSI" APPEARANCES
IN
2003 AND 2004
Our
3rd through 8th graders performed "A Star is Born".
A Star is Born follows a group of children preparing for a
big Christmas television production. When Sophia the actress comes
to play the role of Mary, the director and the other actors try
to help her understand that the "star" of any Christmas production
is Jesus Christ. The main lesson is to be humble and allow
God to use you for His glory.

Our choreography is created by Tiffany Turley who
co-directs with her dad, Pastor Ed Turley.

The
Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade classes performed: "Angel
Alert" by Celeste Clydesdale. The entire children’s choir
is made up of angels! They are all waiting to be told when to
go to earth and make the grand announcement. As they wait for
the call, they review God’s faithfulness through His promises
and some of the prophecies about the Savior’s birth. The musical
is full of worship and plenty of celebration, since the angels
understand the love God has for His people in sending His Son
to earth.

Christmas
2003 - "Christmas At Grace |
|
This
musical extravaganza featured a cast of over 100 adults and children
celebrating Christmas in a Broadway style event. "Christmas At
Grace" was an adaptation of the popular Celeste Clysdale musical
Meet Me at the Manger". This high energy performance
included special choreography created by Tiffany Turley of the
"Young Continentals" and "Reflections". This was an exhilarating
rendition of the Christmas story that ministered to many hearts
and reminded us of the love and joy that surround Christmas
